Base Glaze: Mayco Eggplant (SW-134)
Eggplant is a glossy, opaque glaze that fires to a deep, luxurious purple with hints of dark plum and midnight undertones. Suitable for both stoneware and porcelain, this glaze offers excellent coverage and a smooth, glassy surface. It pairs beautifully with variegated glazes like Sea Salt to create layered depth and delicate highlights.
Top Glaze: Mayco Sea Salt (SW-118)
Sea Salt is a semi-opaque, variegated gloss glaze that features a creamy white finish with soft floating crystals in pale gray and green. When layered over darker colors like Eggplant, it breaks beautifully to reveal contrasting tones and produces organic, flowing highlights that add movement and texture to your pottery.

For best results, apply 2-3 coats of Eggplant, let it dry completely, then brush or pour 1-2 coats of Sea Salt over selected areas. Fire to cone 6 to reveal a rich, layered finish with natural breaks, soft luster, and organic movement.
