Rim Templates

Rim templates are tools used in the pottery-making process to help potters create uniform and consistent shapes for the rims of their clay vessels. Pottery rim templates come in a variety of shapes, patterns and sizes to accommodate different types of pottery. To use a pottery rim template, the potter places the template on top of the clay and uses a sharp tool to cut around the edge of the template, creating a clean and precise shape for the rim.
