This lively combo starts with a base coat of Mayco: Red Gloss, layered with Mayco: Sea Salt. The result is a dynamic surface with rich red tones, softened breaks, and floating crystal accents that make every piece pop.
Base Glaze: Mayco Red Gloss (SW-504)
Red Gloss is a glossy, opaque glaze that fires to a brilliant, fire-engine red. It offers strong, even coverage on both textured and smooth surfaces, making it ideal for adding a bold, solid color foundation. When used as a base glaze, Red Gloss brings intensity and warmth that peeks through layered top glazes.
Top Glaze: Mayco Sea Salt (SW-118)
Sea Salt is a semi-opaque gloss glaze known for its creamy white finish with floating crystals and soft gray-green variations. When paired with bold colors like Red Gloss, it creates beautiful breaking effects and reveals highlights along textured surfaces, adding depth and visual interest to every piece.

For best results, apply 2-3 coats of Red Gloss, allow to dry completely, then brush or pour 1-2 coats of Sea Salt over select areas or the entire piece. Fire to cone 6 to reveal bold reds softened with creamy white breaks and subtle floating crystals.
