High Fire Stoneware Clays for Pottery, Ceramics

1200 - 1300ºC (Cone 5-10)


The SIO-2® range of high-fire stoneware clays, with a firing range from 1200ºC to 1300ºC, includes a wide selection of colorful, grogged clays for artistic pottery and ceramics.

All our stoneware clays contain a high percentage of grog (40%), with different granulometries, from very fine (0-0.2 mm) to very coarse (1-3 mm), which provides excellent behavior during drying and firing. The varieties with greater granulometry develop textures that give character to the piece.

Their extraordinary plasticity makes them optimal for pottery, ceramics, and large-format sculpture. Their wide range of color shades, from ivory white to graphite black, makes them an ideal means of artistic expression. Also suitable for Raku.
