Low Fire Clays

Cone 06-03

The SIO-2® range of low-fire, earthenware cermaic clay bodies, with a firing range from 980ºC to 1.100ºC, includes a wide offer of multipurpose clays for pottery, artistic ceramics and structural ceramics. They come in multiple colours, formats and humidity levels for the different needs of the ceramic process and product finish.

Grogged varieties confer a very interesting textured surface (not flat) which, in turn, provide ideal properties for making pieces that are difficult to dry, avoiding deformations and cracks. All references are adjusted to have a perfect match with conventional glazes.
